Virax Biolabs is a small UK-based diagnostics company working on T-cell immune-profiling tests. This morning its UK subsidiary signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Fosun Diagnostics — part of the $5.8B-revenue Fosun Pharma group — covering its ImmuneSelect research products across Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia. A real headline with a name-brand partner, and purchase orders can start immediately. What the headline didn't carry was any disclosed minimum order commitment.
The mechanics
A 1-for-25 reverse split on June 26 left roughly 529,000 shares floating and a market cap near $5M. Any genuine news forces every buyer through that keyhole at once. The float turned over more than a hundred times today.

How VRAX's move ended
Straight back down. VRAX bled from 10 AM onward and closed at $6.38, up 2.1% from the alert — a near-complete round trip of a +111% move. After hours it slipped under $5.60. The wrapper matters here: a company that needed a 1-for-25 split two weeks ago to hold its Nasdaq listing (compliance deadline July 11), with a fresh $3.3M preferred exercise behind it, doesn't keep a 4x day on a research-products distribution deal.
The tell: when the float is half a million shares, the same mechanics that quadruple the stock before lunch unwind it by the bell. The deal was real. The price wasn't.
